Morena koutou
Some of you may have already received an update from me, please forgive me for repeat follow up.
As the weather appears to have caused issues for many of our communities and regions ,yet again, I wanted to make sure to check in.
For the latest weather event ( last week to now), CDEM will be leading response for the first 14 days, please do engage with CDEM as they will ensure assessment capture all needs.
However once activated, TAS will address the Temporary housing needs as required/appropriate.
IF you would like to connect sooner, so that our teams are aware of where the needs are in preparation for TAS activation, please feel free to reach out.
Here is my number 021 860 194.
After the first 14 days, Once activated, Whanau/Households can access our service by registering through our Temporary accommodation portal Temporary Accommodation Service » Temporary Accommodation (TAS IS NOT ACTIVE, YET, if whanau register now, they will be registered to previous weather event).
P.S this may have been sent to those outside impacted areas, However as Iwi are connected, please feel free to share within your Iwi/Hapu/Marae networks.
