Rosie’s husband is Lupe Ukufia who is of Niuean descent, they have 2 daughters, Kodie and Tamala and 4 grandsons Poutama, Tumoana, Autahi & Hoera.
Rosie has spent many years working within the iwi treaty settlement arena for her iwi Te Aupouri. She has a broad range of skills ranging from office management, staff management, negotiations with crown entities, contract management, financial capability and many more, she comes 17 years of knowledge within the iwi and post-settlement governance space.
She is the Potahi Marae trustee/treasurer and the treasurer for Te Piri o Waimirirangi Te Kohanga Reo and chairperson for Aupouri Rugby Football Sports Club
